The face protection visor is available with either 16 or 39 openings per cm² and provides reliable protection while maintaining optimal visibility. The special surface coating reduces distracting sunlight reflections and helps prevent the visor from icing up in sub-zero temperatures. The robust visor is designed for professional use and combines high functionality with durability. If there is a risk of sharp-edged, flying particles striking the visor at high speed, as can occur during brush cutting, safety glasses must be worn in addition to the visor.

I just didn’t hear the warning call “Timber!”. In September 2018, as I often do, I was doing some forestry work in the dense spruce forest when, out of nowhere, a tree weighing over a ton, hit me from behind. The emergency team was quite surprised to find that I was still conscious in view of my serious injuries.
At the hospital, the situation seemed dramatic – severe fractures of the shoulder, vertebrae, pelvis and legs, and a level 1 out of 3 traumatic head injury. However, what the doctors could hardly believe was that despite the severe blow to the back of my head, there was not a single bone fracture in my head and no injury to my cervical spine. The PROTOS® Forest protected me from this and thus saved my life.
After several operations and months of rehabilitation, I went to Koblach and handed over my destroyed head protection to the PROTOS® team. The fact that I was able to walk again without a walker is just incredible.
