The PROTOS® Rescue is the ideal head protection for rescue operations, technical assistance, and demanding emergency medical service deployments. Developed for maximum safety and high wearing comfort, it reliably supports emergency personnel in every situation.
Equipped with the MaClip chin strap and Crash Absorber, the PROTOS® Rescue offers increased impact absorption and a secure fit – even during intensive operations. The magnetic closure on the chin strap allows for quick and safe opening, even while wearing gloves.
Thoughtful ventilation, a perfect fit, and the modular system make the PROTOS® Rescue a reliable companion during long and demanding operations. Thanks to its individually adaptable equipment, the helmet can be flexibly adjusted to a wide range of requirements.

Survival stories that inspire us
I just didn’t hear the warning call “Timber!”. In September 2018, as I often do, I was doing some forestry work in the dense spruce forest when, out of nowhere, a tree weighing over a ton, hit me from behind. The emergency team was quite surprised to find that I was still conscious in view of my serious injuries.
At the hospital, the situation seemed dramatic – severe fractures of the shoulder, vertebrae, pelvis and legs, and a level 1 out of 3 traumatic head injury. However, what the doctors could hardly believe was that despite the severe blow to the back of my head, there was not a single bone fracture in my head and no injury to my cervical spine. The PROTOS® Forest protected me from this and thus saved my life.
After several operations and months of rehabilitation, I went to Koblach and handed over my destroyed head protection to the PROTOS® team. The fact that I was able to walk again without a walker is just incredible.
